One of our very own resident experts on the forum has agreed to join us in an interview - Fenixx
    About Fenixx
He lives on the East Coast of the US in the People's Republic of Maryland. He has been a clinical pharmacist for 27 years, and have worked in one sort of health care or another for 32 years. My work experience includes compounding drug preps from raw ingredients, hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy, hospice pharmacy, research pharmacy and home care pharmacy. Currently he works in a retail pharmacy with a specialty in Geriatrics.
He is a a serial hobbyist-- Current hobbies include economics, foreign languages (speaks French and Spanish, used to speak Russian but now mostly can read and write it), and making his own soap and root beer. He has an undying love of algebra. Former hobbies include electronics, playing and recording country music, origami, and telling stories to children (which he still does whenever possible!).
Here are some topics Fenixx can answer questions on.
We will probably focus on two topics. So whichever two topics that get the most questions will be the main focus of the interview so he can go in depth on the subject.
    1. 'Eye of newt and tongue of dog' -- The little known sources of prescription medicines and food additives.
    2. 'Not all vaccines are alike' -- How vaccines work, how they are dissimilar, thimerosal; Vaccines, civil rights and public health.
    3. 'The Genesis of Addiction' -- How do people become addicts? How can you avoid addiction?
    4. Assessing Risk/benefit with prescription drugs.
    5. 'Not all medicines are alike' -- The established medical thought behind different classes of medicine, and why some types of medication are riskier than others (ie., antibiotics work on different principles than antianxiety meds. These are different than antipsychotics, which are different from anticancer drugs, etc. You will be better able to assess the risks and benefits of a medicine if you know how they think it will work.)
    6. PBMs, Insurance, and prescription drug costs - How the Pharmaceutical Benefits Managers (PBMs) may have betrayed your interests by colluding with your insurance company. How public health insurance drives up the cost of medicine.
    7. Your medicine and how to prepare for societal collapse. Suppose you are taking a medicine for high blood pressure, and it is controlling your pressure with few side effects; If there is a natural disaster, war or other social upheaval, your pharmacy will be out of your medication in less than a week-- How to take steps now to stockpile a reasonable supply of essential medicine; Stockpiling vs. Hoarding; Why expiration dates aren't set in stone; Optimum long-term storage of medicines.

Im sure that came about because he has two different uses of his name. I noticed the difference (on the two different uses before) but gave it no second thought. It is corrected now.
